The National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals play all of their home games at Paul Brown Stadium. The team used to play all of their games at Cinergy Field which also used to be the home of Major League Baseball’s Cincinnati Red. The team played there from 1969-1999 and enjoyed some good moments in the stadium. The Bengals won two AFC championships and a number of divisional championships while there. Bengals greats like Boomer Esiason, James Brooks, and Anthony Munoz spent their entire Bengal careers at Cinergy Field.

The Bengals had been pushing to get a new stadium built for years before the citizens of Cincinnati finally passed a bill that allowed a new stadium to be built just a short walk away from Cinergy Field on the wide banks of the Ohio River. The stadium features a number of amenities like 144 luxury suites, 7,000 club seats two club restaurants, and a Bengals pro shop. The 65,000 seat stadium had its inaugural game on September 10, 2000 and sold out the game. Due to the lack of winning by the Bengals that was one of the few sell outs the stadium has had. The team was more successful in 2003 and produced a number of sellouts.

The Stadium has a nickname of "The Jungle" that was adopted in 2004 and a jungle motif added to the inside walls.
