The Washington Redskins call FedEx Field, formerly Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, their home turf. When the 85,000 stadium opened for the 1997 season it held the largest capacity of fans in the National Football league. The stadium has played host to two NFC playoff games and to the 1999 NFC East division championship clinching game for the Redskins. The site showcases a great variety of stadium amenities that are exclusive to FedEx Field. The Owners Club is an exclusive party room that one could have an executive meeting or just have a great time watching the Washington Redskins trying to reclaim their place a top the NFL. The field also features its very own The Humidor cigar/martini lounge. It’s perfect for those who want to leave the hustle and bustle of watching the game in your seats and go and sit down and enjoy an imported cigar in one of the seventy overstuffed leather chairs. If you don’t want to sit in the chairs you can sit at the 75 person bar and watch the game on one of the two projector TVs or on one of the four flat screen monitors. If the patrons are hungry they could go to The Brew Pub restaurant. The Brew Pub is encompassed by four stories of windows to set the mood in this club level eatery. The Pub also shows off a patio area that is covered year round by a 5,600 square foot tent. Finally the stadiums crown jewel is the Club Level Concourse. The Concourse is an entirely enclosed luxuriously decorated atrium. The atrium features four stories of windows, thousands of overstuffed leather chairs and sofas, high ceilings, and marble tables.

In addition to playing being the home field of the NFL’s Washington Redskins FedEx Field plays host to Virginia Tech Hokies football games. The stadium will play host to a game of mammoth proportions when the Hokies match up against the University of Southern California Trojans.
