The home of the Dallas Cowboys is none other than Cowboys Stadium. The Cowboys Stadium replaces the 65,595 seat stadium had been the pride of Texas since 1971 when the Cowboys played their first season in it. The most unique part about the old stadium wass the roof. It’s partially covered, only the fans are covered but the field is still left in the open and vulnerable to the elements of nature. Since the beginning the stadium playing surface was Astroturf but in 2002 the team switched over to “Real Grass” which is a synthetic turf that looks and feels like grass but still gives the great bounce that turf gives. Two DiamondVision score/video boards are located in opposite corners of the stadiums displaying the score and replays of the game. Also outside of the stadium is the Coral Club. The club is a big tent that is set up hours before the game starts where fans can come in and enjoy food, drinks and live music before and after every Dallas Cowboys games.

Cowboys Stadium also plays host to a number of events like concerts, super cross, college football and the Texas’ UIL state championship of high school football.
